COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective The aims of this course are to teach the basic concepts, terminologies and rules of psychomotor development; to teach various aspects of psychomotor development; to teach theories about psychomotor development, locomotor and manipulative skills. .
Course Content Studies about teaching process, skill and skill types, individual differences, perceptions and memory, motor learning modules, importance in feedback performance, reaction time and decision making mechanism, attention and human performance, sensitive support in performance skills, transfer, speed and correctness principles and motivation. .
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Knows basic concepts related to motor development.
2Explains the phases of motor development.
3Becomes aware of the importance of motor development stage while teaching skills related to his/her field.
4Becomes aware of the importance to individual differences on motor development.
5Uses the theoretical information about motor development in the application.
6Evaluates locomotor, manipulative and balance skills.
7Uses the motor development skill classification while teaching skills.
8Transfers the information related to motor development to new situation in life.
9Becomes aware of the importance of physical education and sports for healthy motor development.
10Follows up to new trends in the age for professional implementation to support motor development.
