Course Objective To explain companding and translinear principles, to teach general principles of log domain circuits and square-root domain circuits.
Course Content Overview of microelectronic circuits, comparison of the MOSFET and BJT, companding, translinear principles based on the exponential law (static translinear principle, dynamic translinear principle), translinear principles based on the square law (static voltage-translinear principle, dynamic voltage-translinear principle), log domain circuits, square-root domain circuits.
