Course Objective This course provides an understanding of general information about electric generation process, electrical power plant types, working principles, advantage and disadvantages.
Course Content The importance of electrical energy / Modern power plants: Thermal, nuclear, hydroelectric and diesel power plants / Secondary units, types of turbine / Renewable energy / Energy distribution and control techniques / Power component and circuits.
