COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective To define the general structure and the main components of a typical communication system, to teach the fundamental effects of limiting communication, to define and to use the continuous-wave modulation techniques for analog communication. In this respect, to get the ability the third level of Electrical and Electronics Engineering students on theoretically analyzing the continuous-wave modulated communication systems and methods.
Course Content Fundamental concepts on communication systems / Continuous-time signal and system analysis / Signal transmission and filtering / Linear continuous-wave modulation: Amplitude modulation / Exponential continuous-wave modulation: Phase and frequency modulation / continuous-wave modulation systems / Noise effect in continuous-wave modulation.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
