Course Objective The aim of this lesson is to learn basic information on thermodynamics for chemical engineering students. To introduce of common uses of power and refrigeration cycles and their thermodynamic analysis. To understand and apply phase equilibrium relations. To learn the thermodynamic analysis of processes.
Course Content Analysis of the first-law and second-law of thermodynamics, power and refrigeration cycles, first-law and second-law analysis of reacting systems, chemical and phase equilibrium
