Course Objective Gases, Kinetic theory of liquids and gases is to provide information on electrochemistry and thermodynamics laws.
Course Content Gases; Ideal and real gases, gas laws, kinetic theory of gases, heat capacity of the gas. Liquids; Critical phenomena in liquids, gases and liquids P-V-T relations, determination of the van der Waals constant, vapor pressure of the liquid surface tension, vikozit to. Solid State; Classification of solids. Thermodynamics; First law of thermodynamics, second law of thermodynamics, the third law of thermodynamics. Electrochemistry. Phase equilibria.
