Course Objective	The main objective of the course is to provide the mechanical engineering student with a realistic understanding of the basic die techniques and to develop skills to die design. Also, it will provide basic knowledge about production methods of dies.
Course Content	Introduction to die techniques, important of sheet-metal dies in industry, presses and their characteristics, die elements, die materials, sheet materials, type of dies, shear dies, bending dies, deep drawing dies, maintenance of dies.
