Goals The aim of course is to develop student’s skills and abilities on computer aided technical drawing of machine parts, two-and three-dimensional solid object modeling, machine parts modeling, assembly of the machine.
Content Sketch modeling; drawing technical drawings of various machine parts. Solid modeling; creating solid models of those machine parts. Surface modeling. Sheet metal modeling. Steel construction modeling. Assembly modeling of machine and machine parts. Start up machines assembled in a virtual environment and observe its animation.
Topics
WeeksTopics
1 Sketch modeling; sketch modeling in two dimensions using commands such as line, rectangle, circle, polygon, arc and ellipse.
2 Sketch modeling; draw technical drawings of various machine parts.
3 Solid model regulation, rounding, chamfering, shell building, given the solid angle of the surfaces of the model, symmetry of the model-making, model dimensioning.
4 On the solid model surface transport, rotation, offset, remove surface or solid model, cut, merge, a simple drilling, drilling with the drilling of the wizard.
5 Rotating, moving and copying of solid model. Linear reproduction of solid model, circular reproduction, duplication along the curvilinear trajectory, application of various replicas.
6 Surface modeling; Creating surface via raising sketch, rotating sketc around an axis and sweeping. Creating surfaces by Loft surface, sections, planar surface, closed surface, etc.
7 Assembly; learning the assembly instructions, assembly machine parts modeled in three dimension.
8 Assembly; learning the assembly instructions, assembly machine parts modeled in three dimension.
9 Making animation; Giving linear and circular motion on models, Adding spring to between parts, apply force of gravity, making disassembly and save the animation.
10 Assembly the machine and run it in a virtual environment and observe its animation. Making various applications.
11 Sheet metal modeling; create a model by basic sheet metal tool, define sheet metal thickness, bend radius and determine the various factors. Add sheet metal edges by sheet insertion tool.
12 Sheet metal modeling, Adding flange to edges of sheet metal products. Perform sheet metal bending. Chamfering the corners of sheet metal, prune, drill, open a hole to sheet metal.
13 Modeling steel construction, drawing 3D sketch, create profiles, trimming profile ends, extend, close, apply welding to profiles, adding steel construction profiles to library.
14 Machine modeling; modeling a variety of simple machine parts, to assemblies, to observe the animation by making interoperability, and to make such applications.
