Course Objective The principle of the gas turbine and design parameter of compressor, combustion and turbine is introduced in the lecture for understanding of the gas turbines.
Course Content •Basic Information about Gas Turbines •Theory of Gas Turbines •Gas Turbine Cycles for Aircraft Propulsion •Design Parameter of Compressor, Combustion and Turbine •Centrifugal and Axial Compressor •Axial and Radial Flow Turbine .

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Historical development of gas turbines, classification, classification of flow processes of understanding and comprehension; Compressibility, one-dimensional compressible flow of ideal gases, properties of the channels of understanding and comprehension flow, Theoretical cycles of learning, understanding the different cycles.
2Understanding and thinking cycles to calculate the real yield accounts, system elements, pressure losses, regenerator efficiency, mechanical losses and to calculate the combustion efficiency, to calculate the rate of performance.
