Course Objective The main objective of the course is to provide the mechanical engineering student with a realistic understanding of the basic plastic die techniques and to develop skills to die design. Also, it will provide basic knowledge about production methods of dies. .
Course Content Introduction to plastic die techniques, important of plastic dies in industry, plastic materials and their characteristics, die elements, die materials, type of dies, plastic injection methods, heating and cooling of dies, maintenance of dies. .
