Course Objective Teaching non traditional machining processes which rapidly common used in industry nowadays. Teaching application areas, advantages and disadvantages of non traditional machining processes are used. Lastly the main objective is teaching effective using possibilities of these methods at profession life of engineers. .
Course Content Introductıon, Classification of Non-Traditional Machining Processes According to Energy Used in Material Removal, Abrasive Jet Machining (AJM), Water Jet Machining (WJM), Abrasive Water Jet Machining (AWJM), Ultrasonic Machining (USM), Rotary Ultrasonic Machining (RUSM), Chemical Machining and Milling (CHM), Electro-Chemical Machining (ECM), Electro-Chemical Deburring (ECD), Electro-Chemical Grinding (ECG), Electro-Chemical Honing (ECH), Electric Discharge Machining (EDM), Wire Electric Discharge Machining (WEDM), Laser Beam Machining (LBM), Electron Beam Machining (EBM), Plasma Arc Machining or Cutting (PAM or PAC).
