Course Objective The objectives of the lecture are that students learn conveyor systems types and their equipments, and construction principle of band conveyors.
Course Content •Introduction to transport systems, Classifications, Classifications of transport goods, Introduction to transport systems, Classifications, Classifications of transport goods, Properties of transport goods, Non-stop transporter, Excavators, Elevators, Turning conveyors, Chain conveyors, Drag conveyors with chain, Bucket conveyors with chain, Helical conveyors, Gravity conveyors systems, Vibrating conveyor systems, Pneumatic conveyor systems, Band conveyors, Rubber band conveyors, Steel band conveyors, Wire mesh band conveyors, Roller conveyors, Construction and calculation of band conveyors, Numerical examples to determination of band conveyors.
