Course Objective Introduction to the elements of hydraulics and hydrology that is relevant for dimension of hydro plants. Descriptions of part of plants and hydraulic arrangement for small and large hydro power plants will be given in addition to the properties of water, the energy equation, the equation of continuity, the equation of momentum, pipe flow, channel flow, water hammer etc. and distribution reservoir.
