Course Objective Dersin amacı, İşgücü piyasasının temel kavramlarını, türlerini, yapısını, işleyişini ve kurumlarını öğretmektir.
Course Content This course includes topics related to knowledge that will enable you to understand the science of labor economics.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1To gain the ability to interpret and analyze the concept of work and its development with historical social and economic events.
2Knowing the basic concepts of the labor market and being able to define them with analytical thinking.
3Ability to explain the internal and external conditions affecting the labor market with the knowledge of economic theories.
4Ability to understand and interpret labor market indicators and develop solutions regarding employment and unemployment based on the indicators.
5Ability to develop planning, policy production, modeling and implementation skills as an employment specialist, especially in public employment institutions and private employment offices.
6Ability to work as an employment expert in national and international organizations such as the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, Turkish Employment Agency, International Labor Organization, United Nations, EU, UNDP and private employment offices.
7Ability to provide support with expert opinion in the creation of national employment policy.
