Course Objective To provide information about Türkiye's social and political structure and planning practices.
Course Content Within the scope of this course, basic concepts related to social structure and planning, moments of historical continuity and rupture between the Ottoman Empire and the Republic of Turkey, political, social and cultural evaluation of the first century of the Republic of Turkey, urbanization, industrialization and globalization, and problem areas related to social groups will be covered.
Prerequisites SBKY 105 SOCIOLOGY
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1To learn and discuss Türkiye's social structure from a historical perspective
2Identifying and analyzing social change trends in Türkiye
3Analyzing the mutual determinants of political and social structure and grasping the dynamics of change
4Establishing a link between social structure and labor market changes
5To gain the ability to analyze the concepts of education, urbanization, gender and developments in the labor market together and from a sociological perspective.
