Course Objective The aim of the course is to explain the principles and conceptual framework of digital transformation, which is also described as the fourth industrial revolution today, to give information about the basic building blocks of Industry 4.0, and to develop analysis skills related to the subject by enabling the discussion of the practices of businesses on Industry 4.0 and digital transformation.
Course Content In this course, the history of industry 4.0 and digital transformation, basic principles and concepts related to industry 4.0 and digital transformation will be explained, information will be given about artificial intelligence, big data, augmented reality, internet of things, cloud computing, smart factories that form the basic building blocks of Industry 4.0, and case studies related to Industry 4.0 and digital transformation in businesses will be discussed.
