Course Objective The aim of this course is to gain knowledge and skills about planning sexual education process for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Course Content The nature of puberty; physical changes in puberty; psychological changes in adolescence; emotional changes in puberty; mental changes in puberty; adolescent health; health problems in adolescence; adolescent cognition; Piaget's theory; information processing; sexual development; sexual education; sexual development characteristics of adolescents with intellectual disabilities; sexual education practices for adolescents with intellectual disabilities.
