Course Objective This course aims to provide pre-service teachers with approaches and methods to support language, communication and speaking skills of individuals with special needs.
Course Content Definition of communication, definition of language, language acquisition theories, language, communication and speech to explain the concepts and development; basic language, communication and speech characteristics and problems in children with special needs; evaluation of language, communication and speech problems; determining objectives according to the components of language; natural and structured scientific based/ effective methods for gaining communication skills; Family guidance on the development of communication skills.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
