COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective To gain knowledge and skills about the development, diagnosis, evaluation and training of individuals with special needs in early childhood.
Course Content Basic concepts: infancy, early childhood and developmental delay; definition, importance, historical and theoretical background of special education in early childhood; ECSE in laws; Experts involved in ECSE; parent participation; Evaluation in ECSE; Intervention programs in ECSE: institution, home and institution-home based practices; ECSE and transition process; The main topics in ECSE: play, developmental applications, natural education, family-centered applications.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
