COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective The aim of the course is to understand the concept of project and the planning stages of project processes and to develop projects by applying them.
Course Content Concepts about project and its components; definition and function of the project; project cycle management; problem analysis; choice of project topic; literature review; the aim of the project; method to be used in the project; the original value of the project; data collection tools; project work and time schedule; project management software; project budget; risk plans; widespread impact on projects; project team; recalled projects; national and international projects; create a unique project proposal.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Definition of the project and its components.
2To understand the purpose of the project and its original value.
3To explain the basic concepts related to project management
4To design a project by taking into account the specific needs, objectives and conditions of information technologies and by following the project development processes.
5To select the appropriate project management approach within the framework of the identified needs, objectives and circumstances.
6To calculate the cost of the project and to make the budget account.
7To describe the planning stages of the project.
8To calculate the required time for the project execution process using the appropriate time management approach.
9To develop a sample project using the Ms-Project program.
