Course Objective To learn the basic concepts of visual arts, to grasp the relations between culture and visual arts, to comprehend the basic elements of visual arts, to examine the history of world art from past to present, to recognize the cultures that affect the visual arts in the universal sense and to examine the visual arts culture in Turkey.
Course Content Basic concepts of visual arts, relations between culture and visual arts, basic fields of visual arts, European visual arts history, Asian and African visual arts history, American visual arts history, historical background such as contemporary art. Visual art culture in Turkey.
