Course Objective
Strings (Violin, Viola, Violoncello) Improving position shifting abilities, applying new bowing techniques to new positions, three octave scale studies, using sotie technique on the new positions, performing domestic and international works appropriate to the student’s level. -Guitar Helping students develop their musicianship and find their musical identity. -Baglama Konya and Silifke styles; using the baglama in general music class. -Flute To perform the works from various periods of music history with the proper notes, intonation & msical expressiveness. Knowledge on flute literatur & history.
Course Content
Strings (Violin, Viola, Violoncello) Applying previously learned techniques to new positions and position shifts, and sotie technique. -Guitar Studying etudes and other musical pieces from classical guitar repertoire, expressive devices; exploring the ways of using the guitar in general music class. -Baglama Konya and Silifke styles; using the baglama in general music class. -Flute Together with the performance studies of the flute repertoire, examination of the aims of 4 years of the lesson; examinations on flute literature & its history; information & comparisons about the flute education programs of the music education institutions in our country & in foreign countries; discussing ideas towards the educational program developing, as a result.
