COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective Collective voice training aims to make the individual gain the habit of speaking correctly and beautifully, singing correctly and beautifully, using and protecting her voice correctly, by producing a healthy voice in the choir.
Course Content Voice and human voice, general note knowledge. Individual and collective voice training techniques. Handling of musical dynamics in choir. By introducing the styles and characteristics of the Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic and Contemporary periods, the similarities of choral music with other branches of art in the developmental stages and the appropriate choral music samples to be discussed and performed. To provide students with a general perspective and point of view on this subject by comparing contemporary Turkish choral works with distinguished examples from world choral literature.
