COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective The aim of this course is to provide mental disorders in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-V) in the context of diagnostic criteria, differential diagnoses, epidemiological and etiological features, and to enable students to recognize abnormal behavior with various case examples.
Course Content In this course, the scope of schizophrenia expansion and psychosis disorders, depressive disorders, bipolar and related disorders, anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder and related disorders, and trauma and trigger stress-related disorders will be explained. Some other mental disorders included in the The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-V) will also be mentioned.
