Course Objective The aim of this course is to introduce the field of clinical psychology and the fields of study of clinical psychologists, to give information about basic approaches of clinical psychology, research methods used in clinical psychology and professional ethics and responsibilities.
Course Content This course includes the topics such as the definition, scope and historical development of clinical psychology, duties and working areas of clinical psychologists, observation and interview in clinical psychology, basic theories of clinical psychology (psychoanalytic, behavioral, cognitive behavioral, humanist theory and therapy methods), clinical health psychology, ethics in clinical psychology.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
