Course Objective The aim of this course is to understand the basic concepts of qualitative data collection methods and to comprehend how to use them in the field. It is aimed to comprehend the qualitative research methods by studying several types of analysis, and critically analyzing published studies.
Course Content Introduction To Qualitative Research And Researcg Paradigms, Comparison And Contrast Between Qualitative And Quantitative Research, Qualitaative Research Design, Role Of Researcher, Preparations, Ethical Issues in Qualitative Research, Research Techniques (Observation,Interview, Focus Group), Critical Reflection, Data Analysis: Before, Meantime And After, Content Analysis, Grounded Theory, Discourse Analisys, Critical Analysis Of A Published Qualitative Research.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Know which research topics can be used in qualitative studies in Psychology.
2Know what are the steps of a research order based on the basic assumptions of qualitative research methods in psychology.
3Know the epistemological foundations of the qualitative method used.
4Understand qualitative studies, make critical evaluation and conduct a qualitative study via certain qualitative analysis methods.
