Course Objective The aim of this course is to teach basic statistical concepts and statistical analysis used in psychology and social sciences. In addition, it is another aim of the course to gain the ability to select appropriate statistical analysis for the research problem, to interpret and report statistical analysis results correctly.
Course Content This course includes the topics such as basic statistical concepts (variable, universe, sample etc.), frequency distributions, frequency tables, central tendency measurements (mode, median, mean), normal distribution and standard scores, hypothesis testing, correlation and regression, t-test, ANOVA, Mann-Whitney U, Kruskal Wallis.
