Course Objective To learn Sakha (Yakut) Turks and their folk literatüre. Geography of Yakutia, different feature between other Turkısh communıty. This lesson aim to giev information about Sakha mitology, Sakha Turks’ perception about world, human and government. It provide to students to learn far Turkısh communıty.
Course Content Place of Sakha Turks in general Turkısh culture. Research of Rusıan scientists about Sakha Turks. System of belief, sahmanistic practices in Sakhas’ belief system. To explain relation between chaos and universe in Sakha mitology. Monotheistic religions and old belief system. To identify main elements of Sakha mitology and to evaluate relation between that elements.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
