COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective Teaching the basic principles, characteristics, working principles of electrical machines, magnetic field, moment, force, relationship between mechanical work and electrical work, motor-generator-transformer concepts.
Course Content Electromechanical energy conversion formula and principles / study of various laws ampere, faraday, lenz / magnetic circuits / transformers / asynchronous motors, structure and working principle of direct current machines, types. Synchronous motor and generators, structure, operating principle, synchronous motor starting methods.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
