COURSE DESCRIPTION
Course Level Associate's Degree

Course Objective To teach the working principles of semiconductor circuit elements, To gain the ability to make basic calculations of circuits made with semiconductor circuit elements, To be able to recognize various sensors used in the industry, to gain knowledge and skills to use them in related circuits.
Course Content Basic Semiconductor Knowledge, Structure of Diodes, Dc input diode circuits, Zener Diodes and Circuits, Other Diode Types and Characteristics, Structure and Characteristics of Transistors and Transistor Circuits, Temperature and humidity sensors used in industry, Position and proximity sensors, Pressure and velocity / vibration sensors , Flow and level sensors, Impulse (Force) sensors.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Recognizes and measures basic semiconductor materials.
2Knows Diode and Transistor structures and characteristics, makes circuit analysis.
3It installs sensors for temperature, humidity, velocity, vibration, acceleration, position, approach, pressure, flow and level.
