COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective The concepts of advertising and marketing, advertising language and graphic design, social effects of advertisement, strategy and application tactics and target audience, advertisement design methods of customer relations and the variety of materials used, possibilities provided by present technology and advertisement design relations and examination, The aim of this course is to teach the solution phases.
Course Content The historical development of advertising, basic concepts, proper functioning in media, society, application methods for advertisement, formation of hierarchical structure for advertising related information, definition and communication of advertisement, classification of advertisement according to subject and custom, production language and technology of advertisement graphic.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Having knowledge about the basic theories of visual communication,
2Having knowledge about the frame and scope of Visual Communication Design,
3To be able to analyze the content and visual direction by examining design works,
4Detecting the discriminative elements in the image,
5Be able to do visual analysis with the teaching of semiology,
6Ability to analyze with Gestalt perception theory
7Communication design and communication designer's knowledge of the content and boundaries of the relationship with the mass
