Course Objective In this course, the securities traded on Borsa Istanbul (BIST) are introduced and information is given about the functioning of the markets where these securities are traded. Legislative narration is enriched with current examples simultaneously with the market.
Course Content The topics covered in the Stock Market Transactions course can be divided into two: The structure of Borsa İstanbul, its markets and the legislation and operating rules regarding stocks. Issues such as the features of stocks and the rights they provide, capital increases, authorized capital and call are discussed under the main heading of the legislation. In the operating rules section, information is given about the trading systems, order types and the structure and characteristics of the markets.
