Course Objective Understanding the importance of mythology for what it is and Archaeology. Homer's works, and their knowledge of issues. Mythology about the differences between these different descriptions and be able to edge. Inferences about the social life of ancient findings. Research should be able to express in writing the relevant information and experiences.
Course Content The relationship between archaeology and mythology, the birth of Classical Greek Mythology and the elements from which it was affected will be mentioned.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1To understand the meaning and the importance of mythology for archaeology.
2To read the books of Homer and to have a knowledge about their contents.
3To read the books of Hesiod and to have a knowledge about their contents.
4To have a basic knowledge about the process or Trojan war and to be able to recognize the depictions of this war.
5To be able to distinguish Anatolian and Greek gods and their duty.
6To be able to recognize the depictions of Zeus and his wives.
7To be able to comment on the scenes depicting the third generation gods, to recognize the attributes of those gods and their mythology.
8To be able to distinguish different depictions of mythological scenes and the differences between them.
9To be able to make comments about the social life of antiquity.
10To be able to express himself written about the research subjects.
