COURSE DESCRIPTION
Course Level Associate's Degree
Course Type Compulsory
Course Objective Student will be able to use mechanical quantities in arithmetic operations. The aim of this lecture is to teach the students how to behave under external loads and how to calculate the dimensions to be given to these elements.
Course Content A- Units of measurement B- Scalar and vector quantities C- Component and resultant operations in forces B-Introduction. Basic principles. Fundamentals of strength. Center of gravity of sections, moment of inertia. Simple strengths (axial normal force, shear force, bending). Section effect diagrams. Mechanical properties of solid bodies.
