Course Objective To have knowledge about dyeing and printing of different fiber types. To understand dyeing and dye standards. To have knowledge about dye, dyeing and printing techniques used in textile products.
Course Content Introduction to fiber types used in textile. Natural and synthetic fibers. Properties of cellulosic, polyester, polyamide, acrylic etc. fiber types. Classification of dyes. Introduction to dyeing technologies. Dyeing of fiber types like cellulosic, polyester, polyamide, acrylic etc.
