Course Objective Students taking this course will learn general information about mites and will have a broad perspective from their body structures to their classification, from collection methods to examination techniques.
Course Content History and phylogeny of mites, morphology and anatomy of mites, embryonic and postembryonic development in mites, biological diversity of mites, behavior in mites, management of harmful mites, collection, storage, preparation and examination techniques in mites, classification of mites, special topics in acarology.
