Course Objective Students taking this course will be able to understand the basic concepts of ecology and the importance of the environment, learn the types of harmful chemicals and the toxic effects of these chemicals, have information about their effects on the environment and the damage they cause, and make comments about toxic agents based on human health.
Course Content Basic concepts of ecology, species, population, community, ecosystem, matter cycles, important toxic agents, heavy metals, pesticides, insecticides, herbicides, fungicides, nitrate, nitrite and fluorides, radioactive substances, particles, detergents and the effects of toxic agents on the environment.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
