Course Objective To enable students to work on texts that include agricultural engineering concepts and technical vocabulary in order to reinforce their English knowledge, to increase their English reading, comprehension, vocabulary and grammar knowledge. For this purpose, it is planned to provide the students with the necessary English information to convert professional scientific texts from Turkish to English and from English to Turkish.
Course Content Understands the English concepts and uses of the agricultural engineering profession.; Understands English issues about general agricultural topics; Tools and equipment used in agricultural field, Learning to speak English used as a farmer, Seed and soil preparation, Fertilization, Irrigation, Plant protection, Agricultural Equipment
