Course Objective The aim is to introduce wheatgrass and other family fodder plants to students and to teach them how to cultivate these plants when they become engineers.
Course Content Definition and history of forage crops, Status of forage crops agriculture in Turkey, Forage crops ecology, General characteristics of forage crop farming, Harvest, threshing, storage and silage in forage crops, Forage crops seed growing, Leguminous forage crops, Perennial forage leguminous crops, Grain forage crops, Annual and perennial forage grasses, Perennial forage legumes, forage crops culture and livestock will be explained.
