COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective To inform students about the ecological conditions and physiological principles in the production of seeds. Seeds are the most basic and strategic input of agriculture, and what should be considered for a successful production from planting to harvest.
Course Content The situation of seed production in the world and in Turkey, seed production techniques according to self and cross-pollinated plant groups, seed control and certification, seed harvesting techniques, drying, processing, packaging, storage, and seed control processes (in the field and laboratory) will be explained.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
