Course Objective The aim of this course is to provide students with general information about Turkish Music; to give information about the understanding of makam and usul used in Turkish Music; to give information about the history of Turkish Music from the past to the present; to analyze and sample various works.
Course Content It consists of various examinations and exemplifications made in order to give students a perspective on Turkish music while giving them information about Turkish music and its history.
