Course Objective The aim of this course is to enable students to recognize plant tissue culture, to learn the methods, to know the basic requirements, to realize the tissue culture technique.
Course Content Tissue culture definition, history, importance, applied methods, laboratory design, equipment, components of nutrient media, preparation, sterilization. Selection, sterilization and cultivation of plant material. Subculture, rationale. Factors affecting growth and development.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
