COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Level	Bachelor's Degree
Course Type	Compulsory
Course Objective	Giving the practice and teoritical knowledge to the students of horticultural department about general viticulture for both Turkey and the rest of the wold.
Course Content	Grape history and motherland theory, botanical clacification of grape, commercial clacification, ecology and terroir, grape growing at bot Turkey and the world, statistics, regions, morphological structure of the grapevine, viniyard establishment, tecnical and cultural applications at the vineyard.
Prerequisites	No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite	No the corequisite of lesson.
Mode of Delivery	Face to Face

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES

1	Know the history of grapevine and viticulture.
2	Know the world of viticulture and turkey and compared.
3	Know the ecological demands of the grape and apply them in the vineyard establisment.
4	Know the botanical and commercial clacification of grape.
5	Know the morphological structure of grapevine.
6	Know the vineyard establishment and apply.
