COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective	To inform students about precision agriculture techniques and technologies and agricultural machinery applications for the use of these technologies, global positioning system (GPS), geographic information system (GIS), yield mapping in harvesters, variable rate application and ISO-Bus system.
Course Content	It includes basic concepts of precision agriculture, introduction of GPS systems, basic information about their use with agricultural machinery. The course covers all stages of precision agriculture components.
Prerequisites	No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite	No the corequisite of lesson.
Mode of Delivery	Face to Face

1	Is authorized to make applications related to the use of information technologies in agriculture.
