Course Objective The aim of this course is to teach the importance of subtropical fruits, species and varieties, biological and ecological requirements, propagation methods, garden establishment, cultural practices, harvesting, packaging, preservation and evaluation.
Course Content Cultural history, systematics, ecological requirements, varieties, morphology, fertilization biology, rootstocks, physiology, cultivation techniques, nursery, grafting, tree shaping, special pruning techniques, dense planting, yield, yields, harvest, growing regions in Turkey, early cultivation in the Mediterranean coastline, bottlenecks in domestic and foreign sales and solutions will be explained.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
