Course Objective Place and Importance of Crop Production in Turkish Economy, Definition and Classification of Plants, Learning General Crop Production Techniques.
Course Content The importance of crop production in the Turkish economy, the general situation and production levels of crops in Turkey. Definition and classification of crop production, cereal cultivation, industrial crops, fodder crops, viticulture, vegetables, fruits and ornamental plants, general plants and their reproduction methods. General crop production techniques, tillage techniques, seed bed preparation, sowing, sowing frequency and sowing depth, irrigation, irrigation frequency and irrigation methods, fertilization and fertilization types, plant production disease and weed control, harvesting and harvesting information and storage techniques.
