COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective Introduction of botanical science; teaching sub-disciplines (morphology, anatomy, taxonomy, ecology, etc.), explaining the place and importance of classification in the plant kingdom (definition of species, population, relationship between species and species), explaining the characteristics of plant cells by comparing them with cells of other living groups. Explanation of cell theory, explanation of photosynthesis and respiration in connection with related organelles, Explanation of mitosis and meiosis cell division, Explanation of vegetative tissues (Extrusive tissues-Adult tissues; characteristics of reptilian tissues, their location in the plant; tunica-corpus theory, etc.), Explaining adult tissues by grouping I -The location of parenchyma, support and dermal tissue in the plant, their functions, functional elements, Explaining the adult tissues by grouping II- Locations of the conduction, suction and secretory tissue in the plant, their functions, functional elements, Organography in plants I- Explaining the anatomical and morphological structure and functions of the root, Teaching root metamorphosis, Organography in plants II- Explaining the anatomical and morphological structure and functions of the stem, teaching stem metamorphosis, Organography in plants III- Explaining the anatomical and morphological structure and functions of the leaf, teaching leaf metamorphosis, Organography in plants IV-Describing the parts of the flower and its function in plants, Reproduction and reproduction, teaching fruit and its functions in plants, Seed structure in plants will be explained.
