Course Objective
To establish the necessary theoretical infrastructure in order to ensure that monumental buildings and building complexes, which are exposed to the face of the day in classical cities and which are described as archaeological immovable, can be included in the conservation and restoration processes in a permanent and sustainable manner as a whole.
Course Content
The aim of this course is to provide the students with the necessary theoretical knowledge and skills to protect the monumental structures uncovered in the ancient cities of Hellenistic, Roman and Late Antiquity cultures and the remains of the building complexes in the archaeological areas of which they belong and to evaluate them within the framework of the theoretical knowledge in the conservation discipline
