Course Objective To understand the problems of women in the agricultural sector and assess the solutions for them.
Course Content The position of women in working life, problems and related concepts, gender inequality concepts and theories, the female labor force in the historical process, household roles, and role conflict, double shifts and the glass ceiling syndrome, the informal sector and employment of women, gender inequality, and labor market issues in education , gender pay inequality, mobbing and harassment, women's labor force participation, work and family reconciliation policies, positive discrimination, active employment policies and women's labor participation rate and problems of women in the labor force in Turkey.
