COURSE DESCRIPTION
Course Level Associate's Degree
Course Type Compulsory
Course Objective To teach the principles to classify plants and classification.
Course Content For the purposes of systematic, taxonomic categories. Classification principles. Plants treated with the history. Comparison of traditional medicine and modern medicine. Secondary metabolites. Pharmaceutical products of secondary metabolites, antibiotics, antioxidants, flavorings etc. important ways. Classification of drugs. Collection and storage of drugs. Flora of Turkey and the importance of medicinal and aromatic plants. Medicinal plants, essential oil plants. Dye plants, pleasure transmitter plants, herbs. Some medicinal and aromatic plants in nature and in the laboratory of samples to be introduced.
